About “Us”

(Spoiler…it’s just me)

       My name is Jenny and I’m the person behind The Introverted Crafter. Ever since I was a child I had a love for arts and crafts and DIY projects. I would prefer to stay indoors and craft over anything else (this is true even now lol). As a teen and young adult I also found a love for teaching and helping children. After I graduated high school in 2013, I attended community College and worked towards getting my AA in child development. I started volunteering at schools and soon enough I started working for an after school program. After some health complications and simply life getting in the way, I put a stop to my studies after 2 years and decided to focus on work.

        Although I was very happy to have found something I truly loved doing, I never stopped dreaming about one day turning my crafting hobby into a career. Unfortunately, due to me being a shy introvert i found it hard to talk about myself and my hobbies to new people (I’m still working on this now …but I’m getting better!). 

     When schools were Shut down due to Covid I suddenly had much more free time to work at my business and I was more motivated than ever since I had just found out I was expecting our first child. It wasn’t easy but little by little my dreams became a reality.

       My small business has hit many milestones and I’m very grateful for everyone’s support. I continue to set big and bigger goals for myself and I’m excited to accomplish them in the near further.
